Pricey Vancouver is becoming even less popular with renters

Vancouver has fallen to 23rd place out of 25 cities in Canada for renters, according to a RentCafe report, dropping two spots since the last ranking. The city received a rental score of 48.63, while Winnipeg scored 100, making it the top-ranked city. RentCafe notes a trend of renters exploring smaller cities and suburban areas for better affordability and space, particularly for remote work. Vancouver also experienced a year-over-year drop in rental prices for one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, with three of the top ten most expensive rental cities in B.C.
